Sorry- I love the flavor of grassfed beef, so I'm not sure why you feel it's bland. Most people think it has a stronger flavor, not a weaker one. Try again?
Any ideas? I googled and all I could come up with is to not overcook it and let it stand. I love rare meat but that's how I cooked the last GF steak and, to be honest, it was super bland.
I just joined a local CSA and my first box comes tomorrow. Lots of organic veggies, fruit, coffee. Also bought organic chicken at a better price than WF. And, some GF ground beef (will doctor up with coconut milk and spices) and a rib eye and a NY strip.
Would marinating help??
Thanks.

Your steak was bland? If it's a thick steak stick it in the oven for a little at 350 F and then pan fry it on high for a few minutes. If it's thin just pan fry it on high. Load it with salt and some pepper. Steak is one of the easiest things to make. Best steak I ever have is the ones I cook myself.
Really flavoring is up to you. I just made up my own taco seasoning + cream with my 1 lb grass fed ground beef, added an onion, jalapeno, bell pepper, tomato. It was amazing.
Open package....insert into facial pie hole. Good tastes are produced![]()
I dunno. The last GF steak I had was from WF so maybe the CSA steak will be better. Thanks.

PS
The grassfed ground beef always comes out great! I do up my own seasoning and, delish. Did meatballs this week with coconut milk and garlic, cumin, etc. Unreal!

I've mentioned this before in another thread, but here's how I do it.
The recipe for a perfect steak:
Melt half a stick of butter
pour in some lowry's (experiment to get it to your liking)
mix
brush butter/lowry's mix onto steak
place steak on (previously) lit grill (char-coal of course)
remove steak when cooked medium
insert steak into pie hole
thank me later
note: if steak is cooked any more than medium, that poor cow died for no reason
