I just bought a chayote squash, but I've never had one before and have no idea what it tastes like.

I have some pork tenderloin medallions thawed (like for stew).

I have some Swiss chard that is starting to wilt.

What kinds of spices complement chayote squash? I have a large selection of herbs and spices, and like everything from mildly spicy to crying-out-your-ears hot.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a stew/soup/stir-fry that would be good with pork and chard and chayote squash? I'm a freestyle cook, so I don't need a specific recipe, just some ideas.
