    Fat intake

    Primal Fuel
2/3's done the book. Have not come across it or missed it.

I know suppose to eat roughly 1g protein per lb. Read about the carb intake "sweet spot" for losing weight.

Have not seen how much fat to consume daily. ??????

54 year old male, around 200 lbs, 5'8"

    Thanks in advance

It's in there. You take your total caloric requirements, subtract the protein and carbs, and the rest is fat.

You should aim for lowish carbs. Protein remains constant at somewhere between 20-30%. Fat makes up the remainder.

    Edit: Beaten to the punch.

    Ha-ha. I win the race!

As an example, Here's what I ate today
    2 avocados
    2 duck eggs
12 ounces of fatty rib meat
    1 can of oysters
    1 box of coconut milk

Fat is 185.5grams, 66% of my calories (it is often higher, if I drink the oil in my pan after cooking veggies in it)
Protein is 151grams, 26% of my calories
Carbs are 47.5grams, 7% of my calories

That's a pretty standard day, except I carb cycle sometimes, so those days have less fat.

This probably won't help you with your numbers, but I just ate for the first time in almost 24 hours (got busy), and on the way home I grabbed a half pint of heavy whipping cream to sip on while I was making food, then finished off the rest of it with a few strawberries for dessert.
