Bad carbs with high cholesterol can increase inflammation. And saturated fat is associated with high cholesterol (not always, e.g. coconut oil). But there's the connection.

Denise Minger brings it up in her new book. Some of the biggest issues come with eating both high fat (not sat fat, just fat) and high carb at the same time.
Eating primal is not a diet, it is a way of life.

I have already lost about 15 pounds after three weeks of primal eating and training.
I have worked super hard and been very strict about what im eating.

Yesterday i started to add a few "luxury" meals to my diet to make it more easy.
One of them is pear with a nice and creamy cheese.
But im only eating about 1/5th of a pear so i dont need to worry
about this sat fat + carbs should interfere with my weight loss, right?

    ???!!! wh-what! how can someone eat 1/5th of a pear ? what about 2cm of banana ? C'mon!
If you are worried about weight loss, eat the whole pear and drop the cream-cheese!
Or make this combo your lunch with a HIIT type of physical work-out just before, and eat a big dinner later.

    Wow, really wow!

High and low are probably not useful words. On a typical day I might get 50g SFA and 100~150g non-fiber carbohydrate--I'm sure each of those numbers would upset a certain type of critic.

    Haha...it was a huge pear

(Actually changed it from 1/10th of a pear to 1/5th. )

Not dropping the creamy cheese. Delicious and i need the fat.

This rings true for me. Couldn't say I've combed through Pub Med for citations or anything.
