The book is a wonderful learning source, but it is a little repetitive. I would give it an 8, just because I felt like I had to skip parts because mark reiterates so often. It is rife with great information though and will definitely start you on the right track to a primal lifestyle. Most importantly, it will not just tell you what you should do and eat, but it will tell you why you should do and eat it, and that is invaluable information when the the restrictions start to wear on you. Give it a go and keep it up, you won't regret it!
