Thank you for the kind thoughts. I'm not close to the worst area, but it's quite nasty outside right now and expected to get worse tonight. Lots of rain and wind.

On the bright side, I'm having chicken livers with bacon, onions, and sage for dinner tonight, with okra on the side. As I hunker down, safe and well fed, my thoughts and prayers go out to those less fortunate.

Thanks for the thoughts...the storm will track right over us. It's been raining steady all day and we have water standing in the horses field. We've done what we could, have provisions and a generator but I worry about our big trees falling.

I'm fixing beef liver with bacon, onion and potato for my meal today.
