    Oops, looks like I let two weeks slip by. Rendered lard today. Never did it before. Probably won't do it again, but it was a new experience even if it did include food. Hopefully I make up for that week and try two new things this week.

    i've done a few new things in the past couple of weeks, but it's all pretty much been work related...so i hit that "use your brain" primal law. the best was a terrific day long workshop on diversity. it didn't really blow my mind, but it was interesting as hell.

    DH and I made salami today. We've had the sausage attachment for our kitchenaid for years and never used it. I can't wait to try the salami, it's supposed to cure for about 6 weeks.

    Yesterday I made that Avocado Chocolate Mousse that Goldie mentioned that she stole from PrimalPapa. Put it in the freezer and then tried it today. Pretty darn good. Gives my old gelato fave down the street a run for it's money!
