Coconut-Banana "Biscuits". No sugar, no sweetener, minimal honey, yet still sweet, coconutty and tasty!
http://onepoundmeals.blog.com/2012/1...onut-biscuits/

"These are one of the best treats I've made AND they're close to the type of stuff real Hunter-Gatherers eat: a variety of nuts and fruit, mashed together into a paste is actually a very common calorie-snack among modern tribes!
You can try using flavourless spices as natural colourants to make them orange or black for haloween, or even fill/splatter them with Paleo jam, to simulate blood.
Also probably quite fun to make with kids, as it involves a lot of "messy hands" work and it's quick enough so they shouldn't get bored!

Can be made properly Paleo by using coconut milk and coconut cream and vegan by using soy/coconut/almond mock-dairy and maple syrup instead of honey.

Have fun!"

Roasted Root-Vegetable Mash. http://onepoundmeals.blog.com/2012/1...root-veg-mash/
The photos aren't very pretty as my phone-camera's bad with artificial lighting, but the mash was delicious!

4 flavours of Devilled Egg with a Ginger Stir-Fry! 80p/portion!
IMG0433A.jpg
http://onepoundmeals.blog.com/2012/1...nger-stir-fry/

"I’d always had this fear of devilled eggs. Even before knowing what they actually WERE, they sounded difficult! When I discovered what they ACTUALLY were, I was concerned I’d still find a way to get them wrong, like I’d jinxed them.

But today I faced my nemesis and emerged victorious! I managed to make four flavours of devilled egg to go with my ginger stir-fry!

Egg 1: Pepper and Paprika.
The mildest of the lot, with a warm, peppery flavour that permeated the egg and left a subtle aftertaste.

Egg 2: Chili.
A strong burst of sweet chili which fortunately left behind no lip or mouth irritation!

Egg 3: Herb and Honey.
Nice. Different, but so very, very nice.

Egg 4: Coconut Curry.
The most fun of all of them, the sweet coconut curry taste of the yolk really brought my tastebuds to life!"

DO IT! The shooting season is nearing an end, so they will likely all be frozen in a few weeks.
Oh, and some will come with grain OBVIOUSLY still in the digestive system, but it's mostly corn and seeds used to "finish" them, so don't worry too much.

Enjoy your pheasant.
