Female, 5'3", 48, Starting weight: 163lbs. Current weight: 135.
Starting bench press: 30lbs. Current bench press: 75lbs.
I have a small butt in the first place and I'm doing the strong-lifts 5x5 which calls for squats 3x a week. Hope mine doesn't shrink anymore or it'll be completely flat!!!
My butt often hurts when I sit for too long, so I bring a pillow with me to sit on in class (I'm one of the cool kids.) Mine is probably mostly fat right now. Does muscle hurt less to sit on? Or should I invest in a thicker pillow? Haha

Trust me, squats are going to give you a fantastic butt. You will find it gets higher and rounder rather than wide. Some of my pants can feel baggy under the butt because they are not the right cut, but nobody would call my ass skinny.
