I signed the petition. Down with GMOs.
I'm sure some of you have already checked this out (or its been posted), but I'm gonna link it any how | Genetically Engineered Foods/Tell FDA to Label. Let em know you care!
I signed the petition. Down with GMOs.
GMO foods have never really bothered me. I voted no for that on the California ballot. All of our plants have been genetically modified to some extent.
There's a difference between genetically modifying through selective breeding and creating frankenfoods in the lab. Voting no on that puts you square on the side of Monsanto and against organic farmers.
I used to feel the same way about GMOs. Then I started reading everything I could understand (a lot of the science papers are tough).
I'll sign the petition.
I buy organic which is non-GMO by law (anyway in Europe it is). So by buying organic you also show the producers you don't want GMO food.
What on earth?!Take a walk on the wild side.
If you're ok with GMO you are eating Roundup, an herbicide.
and they are tracing that and an insecticide, Bt, to still born calves and poultry in cafo operations.
enjoy your GMO now?
And it's not so much what you eat, GMO or Organic,
but my ability to choose thru labeling which is not required here in the USA.

I signed it. I want to know what is in my food and where it came from, labeling is essential. Even if you don't care about GMO's in your food labeling allows you to choose. If it's not labeled no one knows. And personally I resent the fact that I have to pay more for organic food just to ensure I am not being exposed to chemicals, pesticides and GMO's I do not want to ingest or worse have my child ingest. So even if you don't care if you eat GMO's that may give you cancer or lead to infertility labeling allows you to chose to eat those foods.
9which I personally can't understand but to each his own)
I'm going to vote for the proposition. They have a law against labeling food as non-GMO so this is a way to undo such idiocy. They really do not want you to know or have the choice.
