Another effect of blue-light. There's a certain amusement to this one.

... internet pron users [hunched] over computers ... use massive artificial light to view their porn [with the result] that with time they develop erectile dysfunction and destroy GnRH and testosterone levels.

Can someone interpret this please? It's from the same thread, Lewis.

"The reward of food in my opinion is not coded for in food.......it is coded for in the light levels that this food is able to grow in because that is a more stable variable over evolutionary time scales. Many foods come and go as life evolves and I do not believe the mammalian system would use a food variable to follow for energy balance. Light and dark is always present consistently since the solar system formed. Evolution uses things it can count on 100% of the time. Light and dark is one of those variables."

Is he saying that we crave certain foods because of the light levels they grow in? Whaaat??

Is that supposed to be an interpretation? I can read, I just don't know what he means by that.

This is why I teach what I teach. Pardon my fun.

The reward for whom? of food, in my opinion, is passive voice (who is coding?) not coded for unconventional preposition usage in food.......it is coded for coded for what? in the light levels that this food is able to grow in wordy because that unclear pronoun reference is a more stable variable more stable variable than what? over evolutionary time scales. Many foods come and go as life evolves so food itself is one of those variables with light? and I do not believe the mammalian system would use a food variable to follow who or what is following? Unconventional verb usage. for energy balance balance of what and what?. Light and dark is always present consistently redundant since the solar system formed. Evolution Do you really want to invoke evolution since you just made the argument that systems use only consistently present variables? uses things unclear noun it can count on 100% of the time. Light and dark is one of those variables.

Rewrite: The quality of light mammals receive and the quality of light the plants they eat receive may matter more than overall food quality for mammal dopamine balance.

    Done.
