Here ya go, PP. I primalized Buffalo Wild Wings "Asian Zing" recipe. It's got a lot of carbs, but boy is it addictive-yummy... an occasional treat! I poured about half this recipe over 16 chicken drumettes; dinner and lunch for both hubby and me.
If you didn't want it as sweet, you could use less honey (and less vinegar). This would also be good drizzled over cooked fish (salmon!), or with pork medallions.
Asian Zing Wings
4 teaspoons rice wine vinegar
2/3 cup honey
3 T chili-garlic sauce (sriracha)
1 T Tamari (or coconut aminos if you're avoiding fermented soy)
1 t lemon juice
1/4 t grated ginger (or ground ginger)
1/4 t salt
1/4 t minced garlic (or garlic powder)
In a small saucepan combine ingredients. Heat mixture on low/medium heat, stirring often until sauce reaches a boil and thickens.
Remove from heat, allow it to cool then cover it and chill it until ready to use.
Or, start to cook it in a frying pan and add your chicken, then let it simmer on low heat until the sauce gets thick, turning the chicken occasionally.
Makes 3/4 cup.
