What was the last totally non-Paleo thing you ate?

My Mexican neighbor just brought over her homemade tamales, made with masa she ground herself and shredded chicken from her son's farm, corn husk casings soaking with the lard bubbling from the masa, charred on the pit in her backyard, drowned in Cholula and thick sour cream.
How do you say no to that?

The last non paleo thing I ate...
I took the family to the carnival tonight, and we tried deep fried oreos. I had one, it was pretty good, but not good enough to try it again.

You absolutely do not say no to those tamales! One of my best friends is from Mexico and you better believe the next time she makes tamales I will be eating some. Luckily she does not make them often! The last non primal thing I ate was pizza... it wasn't even very good. I prefer my coconut flour crust actually

Homemade tirimisu while visiting family in Italy this past summer. And linguini alla vongole. It was wonderful!

Went on a three day party with some friends. Ate restaurant food, ate pizza, drank beer. Woke up on day four feeling like crap. That's the bad news. The good news is that I probably needed it to reinforce that not eating that way is really improving my overall health and well being.

It has even made me rethink the fact that I was going to make a baked ziti for xmas. I think I'll switch to eggplant parmagiana.

Pie of the apple variety. My mother's pies are not like store pies. I can't even eat store pies. Nobody else is capable of making pie like it.
In all of the universe there is only one person with your exact charateristics. Just like there is only one person with everybody else's characteristics. Effectively, your uniqueness makes you pretty average.
