Anyone have a dependable slow cooker/crock pot?

Hi, looking for a good crock pot but literally every one on amazon has questionable reviews. Anyone have a dependable one they use? thanks.

I have yet to find a bad one, but I'm sticking with major brands, so that could be part of it.

Right now I have a pretty cool Hamilton Beach "Stay Or Go" 6 qt cooker, the brushed stainless and black ceramic model. It's a pretty standard size, and I like the oval shape. It just seems to fit cuts of meat better than the round type. It also has latches on the sides to hold the lid in place if you're taking it to a party or something, handles to carry it so you don't burn yourself, and a rubber (I think) gasket on the lid so it seals really well.

Oh, and if I were looking to buy a new one, I would make sure it had:

    1) removeable stoneware (much easier cleaning)
    2) a switch for high, low and warm
    3) a brand you've heard of before (crappy brands can have some serious hot spots)

My Farberware crockpot is 34 years old and still going strong...

No kidding, I got it in 1978.

I bought a George Foreman one because it was the cheapest thing at K-Mart. It's only small (I cook for one), laughably simple, but has never let me down. I would have thought something as uncomplicated as a slow cooker would be hard to make wrong?

I have the same one, and I second the recommendation. This is also the brand my mom has at home, and she loves it.

I haven't had one long, but I love my Instant Pot. It's far better than just a slow cooker.

That looks interesting. I find that warm, low and high all seem like the same temperature in my slow cooker and I'd give you the name but I lent it to my stepson and can't remember.
