Take a baseball bat to the damn thing. Just think how good it would feel to beat it into tiny little pieces.
I wish I would've thought to take measurements five months ago when I began this! Lol, I also hate the scale... I haven't stepped on it in over a week, but now that this post made me think of it I might have to.

You know all those things you have always wanted to do? You should go do them.

Seriously - get rid of the damn thing. Weigh yourself at your doctor's office instead (for example) - you will still get the numbers fix, but not have the daily fixation. Daily weight fluctuates anyway. Unless you have some kind of condition that makes this daily monitoring advisable, SHOOT IT.
For too many, it is yet another way in which we tell ourselves that we are inadequate. Skip that.
I was doing the same thing for a while.
My clothes fit well, I could see that I was losing fat, but my weight was the same every week.
So I decided to not weigh myself anymore, and go by how I looked in the mirror, and how my clothes fit.
I plan to weigh myself at the end of the year to see where I'm at, but until then, I'm not stepping on a scale.
I rather like it, honestly, but mostly because I'm right where I want to be.
