Game on!
Well hello all, I have been incredibly slack this last week...... no excuses however...... no I won't go into it all !!!!!! Todays plank not worth recording, althou I did manage one side at 60 secs. The other side not so long..... I shall step up the pace.... and have just done my homework on the pressup thread...... that could also be interesting....we shall see how old gwamps will do on both these challenges !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can I ask whether everyone planks at the end of the workout?
It is much harder particularly after a kettlebell workout but is meant to be great for your core?
2010 - 5,11 and 101KG
2012 - 5,11 and 77KG
Train hard, eat well and love life
I added 15 seconds today. 1.45.
if i do any specific ab stuff like planks, i always do it at the end of the workout. all movement comes from the core so you should always have been doing something that has used it anyways. Can I ask whether everyone planks at the end of the workout?
side planks are way harder than planks gwamma so well done!
Okay, I'll do one here. But I have to stop as soon as my legs cramp even if nothing else is even tired yet.
12 seconds. Both of my thighs began to cramp simultaneously. Yes, I can hold an L-sit for 30 seconds at least, do up to 20 chin-ups, 45 push-ups and sometimes one-armed chin-ups, 10 to 15 clapping plyometric chin-ups, plyometric dips, and more - but if it takes legs - count me out.
And now that I did that, I might randomly start cramping again any time in the next few hours. I've taken my magnesium, but you never know.
The best part? There's no cure. I'm basically fitness-impaired for life. I lay down muscle like a champ but can't use my legs for much more than walking without tragedy. Its hilarious. I'm so proud of how healthy I am, the way I eat, etc., but have no chance of joining a gym, sport, or even running around outside for more than a few minutes. I can play on monkey bars for an hour or more. But even one weighted squat? Better have a spotter with a baseball bat ready to beat my legs when they turn to iron.![]()
