i just bought a new apt and am trying to not use a doorway pullup bar to not ruin the door frames. there is a pullupbar/dip station on craigslist that is close to me and this is the product : http://www.hoistfitness.com/consumer...t/hf-4962.aspx

my question is, are there any disadvantages to this vs a doorway station. It is obviously a bit more money, but i see it as a longterm investment.

Or are there any other free standing alternatives that any of you would recommend for an apartment?
