Hello Everyone,

My name is Lathe and this is my first time here. I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes two years ago this week. After plenty of head scratching (I was 5'-11" and 165 lbs) I decided to re-evaluate everything I knew about food. Long story short, I was able to stop taking diabetes medication a year later. Now I manage my BG strictly with my diet (I still weigh 165 lbs).

I'm not completely in the Paleo camp. I still have a decent amount of dairy (mainly cheese) and an occasional glass of red wine in my diet.

So...um ...yeah...that's the story.
