    So here are Wishbone Ash, playing a number called "Blowin' Free" from their 1972 album Argus (he of the hundred eyes presumably).

    I thought I had a girl.
    I know because I've seen her.
    Her hair was golden brown,
    Blowin' free, like a cornfield ...
    Can you imagine a rock band today comparing a girl's hair to a cornfield blowing in the wind? Eighteen-inch wheat doesn't move much in the wind ...

    i love that song. i used to have the lp. i have never been able to find a full length mp3 to download for free. have you ever seen a field of wheat blowing in the wind?
