At 7 o'clock -- hunting monkeys etc with blowpipes. I did hear rumours that they dine off tarantulas, too.

That's what they said. These were fairly small children hunting them - with the aid of sticks and large leaves. It's that or go hungry where they live, the narrator said.
The series is, apparently, out on DVD now. Goes under the name "The Human Planet". But I guess it'll be sold to TV stations all round the world anyway.
