it doesn't matter what you think. that's the beauty of it. if the friend and TFC made a decision to do the deed, then good for them. maybe the best friend wanted to spite the ex. maybe she just always thought TFC was good looking. maybe TFC will start dating the best friend. maybe they'll just be F-buddies. why would you assume that TFC "used" the friend or that somehow having sex with TFC would hurt her feelings?

why is it always the man that's guilty of "using", "taking advantage", etc? if you follow the path of that broken logic, then essentially every sex act between a male and a female is a rape.

Maybe it was even her idea and she was waiting for a decent amount of time to pass before she could make her move. After all the ex-girlfriend clearly said she didn't want to be with TFC, she had her chance now TFC is fair game.

Firstly, this isn't a gender thing. If a female friend of mine came along and said she had slept with her ex's BF I'd still question if it was a good idea.

If the BF is a bitch or a player who sleeps with whoever, it's still messy and complicated. Generally you're just binding yourself MORE to your ex by doing something like that. Unless the OP has feelings for the chick... though his post gives me a hunch that he doesn't.

If the BF is not a player then I would assume they have feelings for the OP. Most people are not going to jeprodise their best friend unless they feel there is a good reason for it.
