Same reason i wear a helmet when i ride my bike. Same reason for wearing condoms and using various methods of birth control. Having fears is completely normal and healthy. Sane, rational people often take preventive action to adress these fears so they can do what they want to do and no let the fear control their lives.
Whatever works for you. Don't be so defensive.

Condoms and VD litmus tests before fucking don't work for me, but that's just me, personally. I will never sublimate the Primal act of lovemaking to media-propagated fears. I'd be as likely to sample air quality before every inhalation than wear a condom or check for disease before fucking. It's literally incomprehensible.

The mainstream media tells people to be terrified of STDs and sex, so yes we all get your fear of fucking. They also tell everybody to get plenty of whole grains and avoid saturated fats. They range from useless idiots to malicious liars. Either way, they have zero influence on my decision making any longer. Falsus in unus, falsus in omnibus.

    To each his own.

I personally didn't do NoFap (I actually quit porn in 2011 before I heard of NoFap) but just cut out porn, and masturbation naturally eased away (for the most part) as I wasn't tempted to sit at a computer for hours on end with the novelty which is way, way more stimulating than any real-life partner. So I was just NoPorn, but I still think I experienced the changes most guys describe at Reddit.

There's one other benefit to NoFap (or just NoPorn) rarely noted: TIME. I wasted so much time on it that I was amazed at how much longer my days seemed (in a good way) when I quit porn. I quit smoking at the same time, and going out for cigarette breaks for 45 minutes per day was also eating up tons of time. Between quitting the two vices, my life felt so much longer and more fulfilling (in retrospect, I think quitting porn was probably the more beneficial addition-by-subtraction of the two).

Masturbation keeps my appearance youthful. I just had a good fap when I woke up. Ready to take on the day now.

Whatever works for you. I'd fap to my imagination, not porn. But that's just me.

(Of course, this clinical study says the exact opposite and lacked the suspicious qualifier that that study had. Take your pick.)

"These data demonstrate that acute abstinence [....] does produce elevated levels of testosterone in males."

    Currently on day 15
Couple of things I noticed so far:
Insane urges to fap, it's crazy
My penishead doesn't stink anymore (I used to wash it with water and still do, but it always stank regardless)
Better contact with girls, either magical attraction or that I'm less awkward
Not looking at girls as a fuck object anymore
    Billie trips balls

    Any updates, Gadsie?

The site YourBrainOnPorn.com updates with new testimonials from boys and young men who quit pornography. They're almost as entertaining as MDA's "Real Life Stories", although these testimonials lack compelling before-and-after pictures. Anyway, there was a podcast interview there with a gay guy in Austria who quit porn because it made him impotent. His website has one of the two best testosterone-boosting articles I've read. (The other is at ArtOfManliness.)

The 'Great Porn Experiment' TED Talk, I think, officially qualifies as "viral", as it's now well over 1,000,000 views, despite only mockery and dismissal from our good friends in the mainstream media. (Although there have been many favorable accounts of it from the media in smaller countries.)

I am far too lazy to surf for porn now to days, but my nineteen years old office assistant keep me updated on some interesting stuff! She is a better porn surfer that I ever was, so it's good to see that the younger generation keep themselves well educated about this important topic...

Yeah, there is more porn than ever. It is bizarre that you say you enjoy teenagers using pornography, but maybe it's just a cultural difference. To each his own.

It is also strange that you claimed it is a teenage girl that you were discussing internet porn with. Freud was mostly a charlatain (he stated his hatred for gentiles was one of his primary motives, which infers his fraud was done with malicious intent), but I think he was definitely right about "penis envy". Modern girls pretending to want sex (or watch porn) as much as men is Exhibit A in girls trying to be like boys. It's embarrassing to see this posing: like watching a ten year-old boy smoking a cigarette, thinking he looks cool.

But anyway, porn is making many boys and men impotent, and the anti-Primal nature of internet porn is bad for most.

Wow dude you are the shit
"Ah, those endless forests, and their horror-haunted gloom! For what eternities have I wandered through them, a timid, hunted creature, starting at the least sound, frightened of my own shadow, keyed-up, ever alert and vigilant, ready on the instant to dash away in mad flight for my life. For I was the prey of all manner of fierce life that dwelt in the forest, and it was in ecstasies of fear that I fled before the hunting monsters."

I can't tell if you're kidding... you're aware that girls enjoy sex as well, right? they don't pursue sexual fulfillment to feel like men... they do it because it's natural, and because it feels good.
