Does buckwheat honey contain the same compunds as regular buckwheat?

I've read mark say buckwheat is a no-no but then elsewhere suggests he uses buckwheat honey.

are they similar or is buckwheat honey good to go?

Honey is honey, the flavour will change because of different pollens but the pollen is not part of the grain - enjoy if you need/want a little bit of honey.
Eating primal is not a diet, it is a way of life.

local honey may offer more benefits to you than a specific type from someplace else.
i'd be a vegetarian if bacon grew on trees.
