My name is mac, and I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing some changes. I've completely cut out the junk food and have only been drinking water the past week or so. The biggest obstacle I have is my schedule. I work nights and usually don't get more than four or five hours of sleep at a time between 9am-10am and 2pm, with a possible hour nap later in the evening. I seem to have a little more energy and I don't get as hungry if I miss a meal. I think that means I'm adjusting to the diet. I don't eat grains or legumes, and the only diary I have is an occasional yogurt or small piece of cheese.
Since I have the proverbial cast iron stomach, and lived on junk food most of my life, my wife has always been concerned about my eating habits. Well, I came across this web site and am giving it a try. I've dropped about ten pounds the past week and a half but I'm in no rush.
I've ordered Mark's books and am looking forward to whats ahead.
