    HELP - Weekends

    Hi all,
    Is it just me or does anyone find it hard at the weekends just to be 100% primal??
    I like some Red wine with crackers/crisps or maybe a bar of cadburys or maybe Sunday dinner with cream potatoes.
    Week days once a day im fine but weekends im like a man possessed:-(
    I could eat the balls of king kong between two bread vans:-)

    When I first started this WOE, I was the same way, with the exception of eating giant monkey balls. Weekends kicked my ass for several months. I just kinda hung in there and let it work itself out. Eventually, it just felt natural to clean my diet up.

    I don't know what cream potatoes are but it sounds primal if you make it yourself. Or make sweet potato fries. But it sounds like you're not primal for long. Crackers? That shit is tasteless to anyone who has been primal for some time

    My problem with weekends is that i just don't feel like cooking, but restaurant food doesn't appeal to me anymore. I may just start IFing on the weekends so I don't have to deal with it.

    Plan ahead and cook a bigger meal or two during the week (extra portions) so that there are left overs to freeze...
    Eat those on the weekend.

    I am the same way. I guess since I'm at work and doing stuff and not just sitting at the house, its easier to stay on it.

    lol at monkey Balls, Also cream potatoes is white potatoe, butter, some cream / milk then mash with a pinch of salt. I WILL GET THIS!!

    I love cream potatoes! My grandma makes them all the time. I had one hushpuppy today. I hope that will satisfy any weekend cravings. Knowing how I feel during the week and then feel like crap on the weekends does help with I'm faced with non primal food.

    Yea cream potatoes are definately primal so eat them .
