Interested to hear replies,
i just get a reasonably cheap one, just sits on the shelf.
Edit: I just use capsules
Can anyone suggest a good quality fish oil (Omega 3) available in Australia?
I have been taking a liquid oil as I heard it was better than caps, but want to make sure Im getting a good quality product for my money.
Also, is it better to keep in the fridge? And what sort of shelf life should I expect?
Thanks
I'll be back

I use Ethical Nutrients high strength liquid fish oil. Pretty sure I saw it recommended on this forum a while back so I started using it. I'm pretty happy with the results although it is more expensive. Would be interested if someone suggested something superior.
And yes, you have to refrigerate once opened, and if you do so, there shouldn't be any issues with shelf life. If used regularly, you'll consume way before the used by date.
Cheers Tone, appreciate the [second] recommendation.
I was using metagenics liquid fish oil which I could only get via a naturopath, but that too was very expensive and not practical.
Thanks

The best one I have found is the Nordic Naturals brand cod liver oil. I get the one with the higher level of Vitamin D. It has no fishy flavour or aftertaste. This brand was recommended by a Naturopath as the most pure oil on the market, unfortunately it isn't cheap.......
It also needs to be refrigerated after opening.
save your money, eat some real fish

With fish the price it is here, you can understand why many people find fish oil the more affordable option.
I have the simplest tastes. I am always satisfied with the best.
