Drop the wheat and soy and it looks okay to me. Yes on the eggs, avocado, olive oil. Buy quality.
i'm new to the primal diet... i am not doing this diet because my mother forces me to eat alot of wheat and other grains and she didn't want me to do diets (except american pyramid food).
but if one day i could do this diet so i'll give it a try.
i was vegan, now i am looking for a diet that make me energetic, healthy and strong.
i want to eat a diet 60-70% fat, 20-30% carb, 10-15% protein.
i dont want to eat a very low carb diet, i think that 20-30% carb is fine.
i want to eat a primal diet (not strict) like that:
fats from: butter, avocado, olive oil, coconut fat
carbs from: vegetable, fruits, sweet potato, white rice, buckwheat and sometimes wheat
protein: fish (tuna), beef, soy products and maybe little fat cheeses. also i get some proteins from the other foods
do you think it's ok to eat like that? i know that foods like avocado and olive oil have alot of omega 6... but the paleos says it's ok because the monounsatorated fat. someone can explain me that? and is it true what they say?
also, eggs today have alot of omega 6, but the paleos says that its a superfood. i have no doubt organic/omega 3 eggs are healthy, but eggs today have pretty much omega 6.
i know that what i am doing is not a 100% primal diet and not that strict, but its pretty close to primal.
thank you for help.

i know that wheat is not that healthy i am pretty hate wheat. but occasionally eating wheat won't kill me i guess.
about the eggs, should i eat eggs although they have pretty much omega 6? i can't buy organic or omega 3 eggs because it's expensive.
olive oil and it's ok to eat alot of it although it has omega 6 fatty acids?
1) "They're still mostly monounsaturated fat, which keeps the overall level of n-6 fairly low, even if the polyunsaturated fat ratio isn't great. Plus, they are an excellent source of potassium.?"
2)
"It's because omega-6 linoleic acid from plants (such as avocado) does not convert at a high rate to arachidonic acid (aka one of the bad guys)."
true?

First define what you mean by "ok".do you think it's ok to eat like that?
You can eat however you want.

She recommends 9 cups of veggies per day
Would I be putting a grain-feed cow on a fad diet if I took it out of the feedlot and put it on pasture eating the grass nature intended?
Soy products are dangerous! its not a health food its a sick food
