When I was anemic the iron supps made me vomit till I thought I'd die.
No amount of tweaking or timing or food could keep those nasty things in me.
    Bad juju.

I found clams a much more palatable alternative. Even if I HAD to eat them twice a week very week.

And that's why I'm here eating HFLC Primal/Paleo.

I found a hard cider recipe that is made just with water kefir ferment...
It is supposed to be quite tasty and manage to get a decent alcohol level.
It really has to happen in my house.
I'll have to get a couple of new equipment things first... I'll want to be able to test the alcohol level.

I slogged down manhattan chowder like a good girl twice a week... and ate liver a couple of days too.
I had trouble with anemia for years.
    Absorbtion issues.

Aw, and we were getting on so well!

Now, I'm not so much of a bitter or stout girl, in all meanings of those fine words, but once upon a time, when I was a stout and bitter downer, I was quite partial to black velvet.

These days husband and I share an appreciation of French red wines, but only he has a passion for black velvet...

I have found consumption of said product to be tested a remarkably efficient measure of ETOH content....

Well, you know... I wanna see how high a given recipe will get my bottles. Say 4 or 5% would be nice if it was kind of reliable.

I have a marine reef tank... I like testing/tweaking things.
