interestingly when i was doing good mornings with 30kgs on the bar this morning, i noticed it hits the but alot more if you bend your legs. and that would be the gluteus medius and minimus more LOL if you do them with straight legs, it more gets the hamstrings.

As a woman with brain/nerve issues... if my would be assailant is within arms reach, or reach if any hand to hand type weapon including blades (which means within about 20ft of me with one), I'm done. Already dead. Or dead after he finishes whatever his plans are...

This is actually true of most women if they are attacked by a larger/equal sized male, unless they have extensive hand to hand training.
    Facts is facts.
    I'll keep my guns.
I do not wish to ever try and fight "equally" in my own home.
If some one breaks in they will likely come armed or have access to the same substantial blades I might have access to in my own kitchen.

we arent allowed to store guns in a way they would be useful like that and if we ever got caught with a loaded gun stored like that, it is a criminal offence which means you can lose your job. and when you have mouths to feed, it is not a good look. i just thought it was funny that he could be so serious about something i by law have to keep locked away separately from the bullets, which are also locked away. by the time i have unlocked everything and put it all together, unless they have rung first to make an appointment, i would be dead. and usually it is someone who is already in your house ie domestic who is the one you need to defend yourself against.
