This may be a weekly thing. Don't know if I can do this everyday. I started eating clean about 3 weeks ago. Also, in an effort to control my blood pressure I am working on maintaining a 5:1 ratio of potassium to sodium in my daily diet. Taking three medications a day hasn't prevented spikes in my BP. I haven't lost weight, but my blood pressure has dropped to the normal range and I have stopped taking all medications. It seems hard to believe that such a small thing could affect one's blood pressure. I will see if over the next two or three weeks the BP readings remain low.

What do I eat?
Breakfast: 2-3 eggs with chopped green pepper, onion and tomato, coffee and a banana or other fruit.
Snack: Apple or carrot, raw almonds
Lunch: Today I had green beans cooked with lamb. (I cheated and had a few bites of rice)
Snack: Tomato and cucumber slices, grapes
Dinner: Salad, cooked onions, eggplant with tahini and yogurt, chicken kebab
Coffee and tea as desired.

So I am trying to figure out how much fruit in a day is considered excessive. I live in an area where fresh locally grown fruit is available and changes according to the growing seasons. It's hard to resist.
