    Training For Tough Mudder?

    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification
I recently had an article published in Outdoor Fitness Magazine here in the UK and thought some of you Tough Mudder enthusiasts would be interested in checking it out! It's a print magazine, more info here:

If you get the chance to read it let me know what you think!

Sorry - wish I could but I'd probably get in trouble. I'll look into adding some Tough Mudder training info to my blog for everyone who cannot get a couple of the magazine.

Cheers Gary - it's in WH Smiths and pretty much everywhere else too. Nice blog by the way.

Congrats on getting published. I didn't seem to get access through the site.

My parkour friend and I are creating a parkour-yoga based training to get us sorted for the tough guy/gal here in NZ and then prepping up for the Tough Mudder for not this year (2013), but next year (2014). I'm working on creating a team from a group of *very busy* women, so we will only be able to train 2x a week with parkour/yoga and then be up to our own devices in between. That's why we opted to wait. Also, two of the team are recovering from some pretty hefty knee injuries and such.

One of our plans is to jump into the cold harbor repeatedly. LOL

I'll definitely have a look at your blog.

That would be great. The Tough Mudder company recently added an event in my city for 2013. So, I am already pre-registered and would love some training tips.

I just put together a little blog post that details one of the training sessions from the article - let me know what you think!

Sandbag Fitness: Sandbag Training For Tough Mudder

It's very much focused on muscular endurance and anaerobic power.
