Beautiful fall day. Oh, wow. I just wish I could do something active! Poor me.

    2c decaf with ghee/heavy cream

    lunch:

Other half of the winter squash
    1/2 avocado
~5oz BBQ chicken (mostly dark meat)

    Snack:

    1/4 c dark chocolate chips
    1 large honey crisp apple

took 700mgs mag citrate this afternoon and feeling yucky. Not in the mood to eat.

    Monday morning.

Started my day with a few rousing rounds of leg lifts and planking. Not too fun to plank when 2 large dogs think you are trying to play with them on the carpet. Calling a Uro-Gyn this morning to hopefully start the process of getting answers to my ailments.

    decaf with ghee/heavy cream

    Breakfast (was hungry this am!):

    4-6oz BBO chicken
    1c broccoli slaw
    1/2 avocado
    1T warm bacon grease/olive oil
    2T raisins

Mixed that all up into a salad. Good! When I eat breakfast I tend to get that urge to binge around 1PM. Not sure what to do aside from eating a fatty Primal food around noon to see if that satiates me.

    snack:

2oz raw emmentaler swiss and extra sharp cheddar
    2T cream cheese

    Fat bolus!

    Dinner:

    Too much chocolate
    Paleo 'granola' 1/2 c

Carb binge. I just let it happen.

All in all, not a great day... but not catastrophic.

    Lazy day.

    decaf with ghee/heavy cream

    lunch:

1 thick cut pork chop with cranberry/pork dripping gravy
2/3c sweet potato and cranberry mash

If anybody wants a great comfort food pressure cooker recipe, I have it! The above meal is so fantastic in the fall and winter. I had originally thought about fasting all day to undo yesterday, but I thought that would just backfire in the end. It was more of a punishment than a healthy choice.

I am sticking with skipping breakfast. My body and appetite just seem to do better with that long period of fasting between dinner and lunch. It typically goes from 7PM-11AM with decaf coffee (1t ghee/1t heavy cream) in the early morning hours. Works for me.

    snack:

1c sweet potato mash (I can't get enough of this stuff)
few bites of another pork chop

    Dinner:

    1 med apple
Huge mug of homemade bone broth

I am concerned about my mood, or lack of one. I've had to deal with some crap these past few months: marital, physical and stressful loss of family member. I feel blah. Very blah. Always tired with very little motivation. This has been going on for the past 2 weeks. I'll give it some time to work its way out. Trying hard to keep up Primal to avoid adding any more stress on my body and brain with crappy food.

I'll take your comfort food pressure cooker recipe! I don't use a pressure cooker, but hubby swears by it. I'll take another recipe so it's his turn to cook!

Beautiful Indian Summer day! It is balmy. I wish I could go for a run.

Fasted until 11AM today. Just had my morning decaf with ghee/heavy cream.

    Lunch:

1 large thick cut bone-in pork chop with cranberry/pork dripping gravy
    2T cashew butter
    1 fresh fig

    Dinner:

    2c roasted winter squash
    2T ghee

Being so inactive has deadened my appetite. I guess that is a blessing! The alternative would be adding insult to injury if I packed on the pounds while being laid up. Tried to do some light weight lifting yesterday and I definitely feel the pelvic floor strain today. Good grief. Pathetic!

    Another day:

Fasted to 11AM except for my decaf with ghee/heavy cream

    Lunch:

    1c kabocha squash
    1T ghee and bacon grease
    1oz raw cheese
1 large Primal Pac (jerky only)

    Snack:

    1T cashew butter
    1 fresh fig

    Dinner:

    2/3 carnival squash
    1T ghee
crispy chicken skin from 1 thigh

I just can't stop eating winter squash! I'm questioning if Grok ate them, since cooking them is cumbersome and raw is gross. Either way, low calorie, high nutrient. Fat content great when ghee and crispy skin are added!

    snack:

4 (thin) squares raw chocolate bar; maybe 1oz

Super day! I woke up with some energy. That is the first time in over 2 weeks. I think I'm finally getting over my 2 rounds of antibiotics. How refreshing energy feels when you've been fatigued!

IF from 7PM-11AM except for my decaf with ghee/heavy cream (1t each).

    Lunch:

    1 chicken thigh
    1c BBQ pulled pork (~8oz)

I hesitate to eat the BBQ due to the sugar content, but I went ahead anyway because it tastes so good. BBQ is some of my favorite food. I am careful to either make my own sauce or use sauce that is HFCS free, plus I don't bathe in it.

    Snack:

1/3c cashews and bittersweet chocolate chips
SHIT. 1 jumbo caramel apple with toasted almonds.

OH, so good but oh so huge insulin surge! Not cool. Not cool.

    crazy busy day!

IF until 6PM with 2 decaf coffees (no ghee/heavy cream)

    Dinner:

    1/2 mega amber cup squash
    4-5 oz BBQ pork

I really had no time to eat today and I wasn't hungry. I could have eaten non-primal, but I decided it was better just to fast than to repeat yesterday. No big deal.

I spent all day on the computer doing the middle school directory. Why do I volunteer for these things each year? Of course, I was way behind due to my MIL's illness, so I had to do it all in the past 2 days. I'm getting a new foster dog tomorrow and I won't have time once he (puppy-Roscoe!) gets here.

For those who continue to want to be grossed out by my ailment, I am working on finding ways to stay active despite my girly prolapse. Lifting more than 12lbs is definitely out right now. I just cannot bear down right now or jog/run. Very frustrating. My husband is so active and its making me jealous and nervous about our future if I cannot get this fixed. I don't know if he is going to want to live with a sedentary wife and I don't know if I want to live with a sedentary me either! This sucks. Just what our marriage needed right now.

Another day, another round of posting. I need to figure out a way to spice it up.

Drank my morning decaf with ghee/heavy cream.

    Lunch:

1/2 chicken breast and 1 chicken thigh
    14c BBQ sauce
    1/2 c curry chicken salad
    Too much caramel.

I bought a container of homemade caramel sauce to use with apples for a party. I never made it to the party and I still had the sauce. Time to toss it before I eat it all. Man, do I love real caramel.

    Dinner:

1/2 head roasted cauliflower in curry sauce from homemade beef curry. SO GOOD. Damn, I make good curry.
