Saw this last night, really good film. I am sure many of you have seen it, if I not I recommend it.

I liked this movie, thought it was great the way that they described how insulin works in your body. Or better yet, the body's insulin reaction to sugary items.
I was surprised that the guy is a comedian, because at first I didn't think that he was very funny. But by the end, I was laughing out loud and grinning regularly.
I passed this show up on netflix for quite a while, but finally watched it a few months ago. Am glad that I did, because it was a great watch.![]()

Fat Head » Video of the “Big Fat Fiasco” Speech
This speech is also by Tom Naughton and is very good. It has a lot of the same things as Fathead but it expands on the science and skips all the refuting the guy who made the Supersize Me movie that take up space in Fathead.
It's a really good primer to show to people just starting to get into the Primal way of thinking.
So, Barefoot dearest, are we tempting you over to the dark side?

I agree, Tom definitely grew on me as the movie progressed. He has a dry sense of humor, he was funny. PB, it seems like I am slowly moving in that direction. Now I just have to start liking meat more.
Yeah, me too. The libertarian site LewRockwell.com linked to this about a year ago, and I found it extremely engaging and entertaining just as a contrarian tract. I would never have anticipated I'd make any changes from it. But, then, at the end, he shows himself eating all this delicious bacon and these berries soaking in rich creamer and he basically is like, "I've been eating like this for thirty days and I'm healthier than ever." And I was like...."Bacon = healthy? Cheeseburgers, too?!? Count me in!" I began eating TONS of saturated fat, didn't gain an ounce over the next two months, did some more research, and soon after I was officially Primal.
But it all started with watching this via LewRockwell.com. Changed my life which, in turn, inspired others in my family and very likely has saved some lives there.
I love Fat Head, it cracks me up. I always show it/recommend it to those thinking about trying paleo/primal![]()

I'm not so quick to assume that mere "pride" is to somehow blame for this catastrophic, lethal, decades-long epidemic. Not with the brains, research, media watchdogs, and other forces all at work.
To me, it bears the hallmarks of design, not just an accident of "pride".
I mean....the U.S. News & World Report repeatedly has rated paleo the worst diet in its all-important, much-hyped "Best Diets" study. Saying that George McGovern is somehow to blame for that is silly. There are other forces at work and other agendas. This is my opinion.
