Steve Raichlen is awesome in that lovely softspoken happy chef way (I'm looking at you, Rick Bayless, you damn sexy Mexican-American cook you) but he's definitely not Primal/Paleo. He uses bread, soy sauce, flour etc all the time. But you're right that just the very nature of his niche - grilling, usually meats - makes is generally pretty watchable.

The first host of the Australian version of Masterchef, Sarah Wilson, is Paleo/Primal. She promotes sugar free quite extensively, which is great. I read her blog and Mark Sisson's blog religiously.
