Burning with coconut oil? Never been an issue for me!
Perhaps you need to learn to cook at a higher heat for shorter periods than you are used to?
If any burning is occurring from cooking you have your heat to high!! I cook with coconut oil every day and olive oil and dont face this problem at all..turn your heat down and let your food slow cook as burning wont occur.

I find a combination of coconut oil and butter is best for high-heat. But then again, if you're cooking so hot that the oil burns up too fast then you're probably doing it wrong.
Also, used refined coconut oil for cooking, not virgin.
