9 miles which included .6 miles run and 6 uphill sprints. Walking the rest. Plus another mile or so at BJs Wholesale. And then a nap.

One hr circuit boot class at gym. It was the hardest yet -continuous circuit of burpees, mountain climbers, jumping on and off a box and fast spinning on a bike.
1 hr bike ride on disused rail track.
    Vacuumed downstairs and polished around.

I'm gonna do a river swim, if I can find my wetsuit. It's winter here! The Kiewa river has some nice hikes in to the shore and cool footbridges, and then one can drift/swim with the reasonably gentle current but pound it when you want. I've been meaning to have a winter swim for ages. There is this guy who swims in a local lake every morning all year round, who is nearly twice my age, and I mean he SWIMS. Does long distances, from one town to another, at least a couple of k's. Very inspiring. He has a big red beard too, which is also inspiring. Remids me of a grizzled old Viking.

Another good one is river or creek crawls. Imagine you are evading someone or hunting, and crawl against the current in the shallows or a shallowish creek, keeping nice and low. Surprisingly good!
My cousin and I do a paired exercise, putting tyres on a length of 7' gal pipe and carrying it native style (each end on a shoulder, as hunters do a carcass on a pole) around the block a few times.
Oh, and sand drags. Drag a tyre through sand behind using a length of rope. Really good resistance.

I'll be doing as many sets of this as I can throughout my day at work:

    5 pull ups
    10 push ups
    15 squats

    Later, I'll be lifting:

    1x5, then 2x3:
Bench press - 190 lbs., then 205 lbs.
    Squat - 170 lbs., 185 lbs.

    3x5:
    Bent-over row - 195 lbs.
