I went running in knee deep snow in moonlight this late afternoon with my dog.Running back down in this much snow is more "jumping." Winter shoes of choice up the mountain: Woolen socks in Huarache sandals and orienteering gaiters. I enjoyed it!

Read this info about "How to Not Get Hit by Cars" http://bicyclesafe.com
The illustrations are for right-side driving so you'll have to flip things around in your mind, but still helps you keep safe while you're on the roads. Drivers are paying less and less attention to driving while driving these days. The best advice I got from reading that site was that you're better off taking up the whole lane, even though you may be blocking traffic, the cars can easily see you.

Sprint Workout.. Did 30 minutes of Plyometricss
Well, passed my fourth test with flying colors, although I was pretty sore all this week. Decided to start working out again today, nice and easy:
Walked the dog 2.2 miles
Hammer Strength Incline Bench Press 3x10
Lat Pull Down 3x10
Smith Machine Squat 3x10
Nice, easy first day back after now doing any barbell training for the past two weeks.

I'm experimenting with the "mini-workout-every-hour" method again. I did this last year when I worked a crazy intense office job, and found it to be great. Basically, the idea is that you get up from your desk every hour and do 20 reps of some sort of intense exercise. Last time I did this, it involved kettlebell swings, squats, clean+press, that sort of thing. This time around, I'm trying to take it easy on my hands, so I'm doing bodyweight squats, easy push-ups, and other such things. We'll see what happens.
