just performed a 7 minute sprint/jog on the spot whilst waiting for my broccoli to cook, later, I'll be walking a few miles around the city.
I miss my park back home! :-( Florida is so freaking unbearably hot when you're trying to train. Sheesh.
10-9-8...8-9-10 shoulder press ladder, feet elevated ~2ft or so (indoors!)
~30mins, 15-90sec rest between sets
Total: 110 reps, 20 sets
Are the elbows supposed to be severely flared??? I didn't have to break up my sets, but my roommate is probably wondering what all those agonizing grunts and moans are... ;-P
And how do you improve a ladder? Just add an extra set each week? Are these a suitable "heavy lifting" workout? My muscle always feels worked, but it's not that overall exhausted feeling I usually get after a tough session...Perhaps a good thing??
I think I'm gonna be hired as a personal trainee this week. EXCITED! :-) Put people to WORK!!!

Seven mile run around the the North Cheshire area --- Woodford to Alderley Edge and back, quite hilly.
Whoo!
Today was part-play, part-conditioning I guess... just went out to the field (albeit a bumpy field) close to the house and did some work with a football. Some throws, some punts. Went running after each throw/punt to recover the ball. Also did a couple of dedicated sprints with ball in hand (a deal slower than running without a ball). I'm tying that all in with my attempts to bump up the strength on my left side of the body.

First walk in two weeks. Went a mile and a half with what seems to be no problems. Iced my back when I got home.

Fairly light day today exercise-wise - spent a while learning and going through two new TKD patterns. More work than you might think if you've never done one.
Lifting tomorrow.
