SimpleFit L3D3 again... improved total time by nearly two and a half minutes, but still over the five minute mark... 5:28.15. Then did 7, 6, 6 of pistols (first set onto a medium-height bench, final two onto a very low step). Had a trio of newbies (freshmen) walk by as I was finishing the second set and were pretty much dumbfounded. One said it was the "coolest thing [he'd] ever seen" and asked me to do it again...
Are you a college student, trying to navigate college while being Primal? Do you know any other PB college students on a tight budget? Heck, for that matter, are YOU trying to live Primal on a budget? Enroll at Primal University!

    postponed wednesdays workout to yesterday.

    Deadlifts and squats yesterday.

Rows, Pulldowns and curls today. both workouts were great.....and I'm officially wiped.

Think I'll use tomorrow for rest. Maybe some sprints on Sunday.

    Friday:

I did Mark's Workout of the Week, which is 50-meter sprint, 10 jump squats and 10 pushups continously for 12 minutes. I figured since I do 10 x 100-meter sprints every week, this would be a piece of cake. I was wrong. It totally kicked my ass. Completed 6 full rounds. After the sprint portion, doing the jump squats really nails you. You are in anaerobic distress as the whole body has already burned off your quick fuel. Then you hit the pushups. More times than I would care to, I had to pause and a catch my breath. And during sprinting, normally I fly using Vibrams on flat grass. The WOW somehow saps my step form, so I'm fast on the sprint but it's a real effort and not smooth. Again, could be the effect of the squat jumps and hardly any rest between exercises. (When doing 100-meter sprints, I take a 2-minute walking break between runs.) This is definitely one workout to keep for testing fitness, and a challenge to get more rounds in. Note to self: Must do more jump squats. The good thing? The pain only last 12 minutes.

Started PB late 2008, lost 50 lbs by late 2009. Have been plateaued, but that thing may just be biting the dust: more on that later.

On top of my above mentioned gym workout, I tried the Wii Fit. It was really fun, I was surprised. Couldn't see how it would be helpful as your *only* exercise though.
