Today ended up being a rest day despite how I didn't want it to be. On my morning walk, I happened to go barefoot ('cause still-damp VFF are no fun to wear IMO)... yeah, my second toe on my left foot got into a fight with the concrete. Took a right little chunk of skin off the bottom of my toe. Grr. So, very little else today other than the ~3 miles of walking in the morning, and then ~2 miles this evening.

    Pushing day.

    Bench press
    Incline DB Press
    Shoulder Press
Aiming for higher reps.....8 instead of 5.
    Did several drop sets
And finished with skull crushers, pressdowns and OH db extensions.

SimpleFit L3D2... this time with a good improvement from last week. Completed in 4:48.78, twenty seconds faster than the 5:08 from last week. Also did three sets of hanging leg raises (not quite to legs parallel to ground though).

    DL 5X8 @ 275 lbs

    Muay Thai training consisting of:

    2 rds of jump rope
    1 rd shadow boxing
    3 rds of sparring
    2 rds of pad work
    2 rds of bag work
conditioning (bear crawl forward > 5 pushups > bear crawl backwards > 5 pushpus > crab walk forward > 5 pushups > crab walk backwards > 5 pushups > duck walk forward > 10 crunches > duck walk backwards 10 crunches) not quite sure how long this was for but it was continous with no rest and extremely difficult.

    footnote: 1 rd = 3 minutes

    Nailed it!
I knew it was gonna get tough today, so I ate a bunch of (gluten-free) chocolate chip cookies between sets.

    Bench worked up to 185 x 3

    Weighted planks and pull ups.

Woke up and did about 16 pull-up variations (pull-ups, neutral grip pull-ups, chin-ups) on my new pull up bar.

    Inverted Row: 3 x F
    Push-up: 3 x F
    Leg Lifts: 3 x 15

Squat 5 x 5 (180 lbs) Great form, personal best; I could feel my ass almost touching the ground when I was at the bottom
Bench Press 5 x 5 (150 lbs) another personal best, although I had a spotter give me a little bit of help on the last two reps of the fifth set; nevertheless, nailed it!
