    I googled!
And found things about roasting nibs...
How to Roast Cocoa Nibs | eHow.com
Roasting cocoa nibs??? - Home Brew Forums
    http://www.chocolatealchemy.com/200508-index.php

It seems "low and slow" is the name of the game here... though some sites start higher and then progressively lower the temp.

Our body is our subconscious mind, and anybody who thinks that their conscious mind is running the show is seriously mistaken. In fact the conscious mind just may be the most narcissistic entity in the universe, it thinks it's running the show. It's not.

I ordered this after seeing this thread. The hubby and I just tried our first cups (brewed plain, nothing added). I'm on the fence about it, the hubby seems ok with it. The flavor is ok, very chocolatey, seems very rich. I don't really care for the little oil blobs that float to the top and sort of coat my lips as I sip it.

I'm thinking maybe we'll save the rest of the bag for xmas when we're craving hot chocolate and mix it with some freshly made cashew milk. But I think for an everyday thing, I'll stick to green tea or coffee.

Yeah, I guess I don't think it's really worth what it costs. Doubt we will purchase it again, unless the hubby decides he must have it.

just brewed it in our french press. There's even a blurb on the crio bru website under the FAQs about the blobs of oil in it. I know that cocoa beans are naturally fatty, and they claim that not much fat actually makes it into your drink. But it was enough to make me go look it up on their site. I don't like the look of the oil blobs, or the feel of the oily liquid when drinking it.

We decided to buy a bag of chocolate beans. So I threw a handful into the coffee grinder/maker and let it go. It clogged the filter a bit, but tasted great! Since the beans cost so much, I'm just keeping a few in the freezer and adding 5-7 beans to my normal coffee. Not sure if I can afford to buy them ever again, but now I can die knowing I've had them. Real, whole cocao beans. They're good plain, like nuts, too.

Which flavour did you get? (I'm still umming and ahhing about which to choose...)

Oil blobs would not bother me.
I have the simplest tastes. I am always satisfied with the best.
