Poor little man Gwamma - they'll eat anything! I know nothing about goats so can't give you any advice sorry.

The rain stopped overnight here but now we've got a freezing cold blustery southerly. Poor DS has his school picnic at the beach today and I can't think of a worse day, what a let down after weeks and weeks of perfect picnic weather too.

Tried to wag work for an hour this morning but of course my phone went mental with everyone trying to call me, I know full well that if I had been sat in my office not a single person would have needed to talk to me. Grrrrrr......however I did manage to get some birthday party stuff sorted for DD, hired a heart shaped cake tin for her strawberry cake and got some wee pots for the kids to all take home a strawberry seedling. I need some ideas for an activity they can do at the party, other than the usual treasure hunt and pass the parcel? Last year I bought some wand making kits (little girls just love this stuff) and it was an absolute hit with them all sticking and colouring etc. Can't do the same thing two years running though.

Just got the quote to fix our car damaged villa, a little shy of $6000! Gotta get it fixed ASAP too, as the poor couple in that villa are camping out in the spare room until we can get it done.

My thoughts about the wee frella are that if I can get food into him that will suck up the oil, and then purge the stuff out ????
anyway I suppose time will tell. I am presuming used waste oil would be a carcinogenic. Of course a wee goat will possibly live 10-20years, and gwamma would hope that it won't be the cancer that gets him in the end. I am also amazed that he has eaten enough for all his last days worth of poo is just oil. Its like black tar !!!!!!
poor little mite, anyway keep that fire going. Its very cold here too, but can't see any fresh snow on the hills.

it's prob better to let him get on with it G. i dont think that theory really works other than to add more stuff in. his body should just kick it all out and it if was poisonous, you prob would have noticed him acting wierd by now. i have heard of goats eating car tail lights before.

dont know what the scale is doing here. i dont have one. i am just enjoying exercise on my own right now.

No snow on our mountain today either when I caught a glimse of it at breakfast time. Gawd that would suck having snow in February!

I think that you are right Seas. I will just let him be a goat !!!! He is itching now thou, so I might give him a warm soapy wash.
Scale hasn't moved much LL, but down about 1.5kg......... so we shall watch this space...............

1.5 kg is good movement. It's a start, at least.

I'm down 3 kg from my medical weigh-in (which was just at menses in the afternoon no less), which puts me 1.5 kg down from my "general weight" of 128 lbs (58 kg). So that's interesting.

i'd be happy with that too. still howling a nasty southerly cold gale outside. been buffeted around on my second trip round the block. it's quite nice exercising in the cold i reckon. makes you move quicker. even if you come back with your hair sticking out horizontally at funny angles lol

does anyone here do stevia? i had some mineral water a while back which was zero carb and had just stevia to sweeten it and it was so sweet it was yuccky. the kids liked it so i gave it to them as it was making me thirstier instead of stopping me feel thirsty.
