OMG Seaweed you would SO NOT be proud of me.
Get to Kaikoura by 7am (2 hour drive from ours), take my two avomene tablets for seasickness, travel for about an hour to our first fishing spot......feeling like I wanted to puke the whole way - so have another tab that I got from a specialist years ago - maxalon equivalent......sick feeling really queasy.......everyone is catching fish at a great rate of knots.....I still haven't got up from the chair !!!!.........really queasy......... more fish, sharks, octupussy, blue cod, gurnard, perch.....still feeling queasy - but now wanting to sleep................ fast forward 7 hours..... not one fishing line, not one fish, P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C. So I concede....I aint no fisher woman - althou I can do the fishwife call !!!! LOL
so I came home with a crayfish, blue cod and perch, but feeling as guilty as hell, cos I hadn't caught a thing !!!!!!!
......and can I just add that I did not feed the fishies, but middle DD (who has an iron stomach - DID). She might have had a jim beam too many last night.
So here - in lies my confession......and next time I will stay on dry land with my knitting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
