    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification
    Hi all,

Another one in Auckland, though from the UK originally.
Haven't been aroun the forum much for a few months, but have been a member for a couple of years and pales/primal for 4 or so now.

Came to it for health reasons, as I'd suffered from IBS for years, as had my dad for around 30 years.
I got both my parents (both in there 60's) to give primal a go a while a go and my dad is now able to eat so many foods which were previously trigger foods for him! He'd essentially gotten to the point where anything other than mushrooms on toast would cause issues.

My mum's a long term insomniac with restless legs and has also found her conditions much improved, unless she slips diet wise which causes sleepless nights to return.

As they say, it works if you work it :-)

Gwamma, have you tried Green & Blacks 85%?
I love the flavour and don't find it as strong as other 85% choccy, even some 75%, also, it's really low in sugar.
Just don't buy it at "health food" shops unless you like throwing money away..
Local specialist shops here in Auckland charge $6 - $7 for 100g, but in countdown/new world it's only $3.99. Countdown usually has it on sale at $2.99 at least once a month, so I just stock up then :-)

Actually, the same goes for Harmony bacon too, I only ever buy that on sale.

Why thank you young lady :-)

G&B goes fantastically with a nice glass of red, enjoy!

Haha, Pinot Noir is my favorite too!! As well as Pinot Gris. Don't do chocolate so figure I can drink more of the wine. Yes? The only chocolate I used to have is the raw cocoa beans, ground through my smoothies but stopped that as it was getting too expensive. Soooo, back to the wine.............(but not too much)

green and blacks do a real nice dark orange spicey choc. maya gold i think? i like their milk choc too. their dark is still quite high carb compared to lindt which is why i get the lindt. if you dont like choc, i reckon dont go there.

in terms of wine, i like a decent expensive merlot. i also had a fizzy red from oz the other day which was way too nice. a brown bros maybe? which was some kind of syrah. dolcetta & syrah i think. tasted like fizzy grape juice and was very sweet. i dont usually like sweet stuff either.

Clubbells | Mark's Daily Apple prob better for me than either red wine or choc place in Chchc sells them here. All i need now is an affordable sandbag!

I only eat the 85% G&B's which is around 16% carbs and 13% sugar. It's the lowest sugar content (not counting others containing artificial sweetners, plus it's organic) that I've found and the best tasting too.

Can't remember what the sugar content of the Lindt 85% is, but I prefer the taste of G&B anyway. Find it smoother and without the bite. Different strokes

i will go have a look tomorrow when i go shopping. i think they moved it to the organic section of my supermarket so i will check it out. as you said before, it is ridiculously expensive at organic shops. well cheap compared to the loving earth stuff tho. i did once get some 100% dark choc which was i think rapunzel and that was divine. totally non sweet which i liked lots.

I think the G&B's has vanilla in it which adds a sweetness of its own without the sugar.

Seaweed, there is a range of 'light' fizzy reds available in most supermarkets, you need to look for Lambrusco. We drank a lot of this type of wine in Italy when I was there last, its supposed to be served chilled also.
