Help me use a Ham Steak
I bought a piece of meat today called a ham steak. It is pork, and not cured or seasoned. Like a pork chop only thinner (under 1/2 " thick) and big- like 10"x10". I want to fill it with a stuffing and do a roll. I'm thinking a bunch of garlic, rosemary, maybe some pine nuts and parm. Not sure how to cook the resulting roll though. Any thoughts?

I'd sear it all over in a heavy pan with olive oil to get it browned, then finish in the same pan in a low oven (like 250-275 F). You'd get the nice crispy bits on the bottom (my favorite), but the meat inside wouldn't dry out.
