B: Two eggs, three strips streaky bacon, fried silverbeet, sour cream.
S: Homemade peanut brownie.
L: Carrot and cheese salad, with olives, seeds, lemon juice, olive oil, pepper.
D: Chilli mince with onions and red beans. Salad of lettuce, sprouts, avocado and sour cream. Few nacho chips.
My least primal day for ages. I'm sure the brownie and chips easily fall into my 20%.

Well I directed yet another friend to MDA yesterday. She sounds fairly desperate so I do hope and pray she "gets" it.
Seems like the first friend doesn't get it at all, or else is not quite as committed to her own health as I had assumed. And my sister seems bogged down in searching for alternatives to wheat, why she can't just knuckle down and eat the meat and veges I don't quite know.
For some reason I have found this way of eating so simple to grasp and to implement, yet when I mention it to other people something gets lost in the process.
On a brighter note, I was musing about what else to take to a bbq besides steak (considering salad, coleslaw, vege dish...) when my DH said, We could take some sausages as well.
LOL. How primal is that? Meat with a side dish of ... meat.

How is the negligee ??????? Have all your dreams come true ?????
You could whip up the prune/apricot thing ????
or take some prawns...... or potatos chopped up, lathered in mustard seed and oil, baked for a bit in the oven?????
Listen to me.... giving advice to our little cooking guru !!!! LOL
Sorry Annie, but you inspire me to try stuff !!!!

...small steps....
I took a bacon and green bean salad, I think the recipe originally came from Sophie Grey and I have probably modified it by now.
Anyway, a packet of salad greens, a packet of whole green beans, fry them in butter and put on top of the greens. Toppings were cashews and some grilled bacon chopped into bits and freshly ground pepper. Drizzle with juice of an orange.
I never used to add oil but I did this time as the dish starts to seem a little low fat to me nowadays. Some feta and avocado might also have been good additions.
Thanks for the potato idea also, I might use that next time. With a sour cream dressing would be good.

Being the only one eating the cream at tonight's party.
It was fabulous on the fruit salad and just what I needed to satisfy my appetite after the main course - which contained piles of bread and buns but barely any fat other than margarine. I had just meat, potatoes and salad, which was nice but not quite enough. Until the cream. Mmmmhmmmm.

Have started to gain back lost inches on butt and waist - time to scale back the hi-calorie snacks.
Maintenance is trickier than weight loss, I think.
