    Anyone growing goji berries?

    Primal Blueprint Expert Certification
I got my first shrub of goji berries yesterday to add to my berry collection in the garden, so I was wondering if anyone growing them, and if they are Okay to preserve frozen and add to smoothies from the frozen state. Are the seeds the same type as in raspberry, ie won't cause consternation when incorporated into smoothies?

I've only ever seen them in stores as dried berries. According to this page, you'll have to be very patient for your berries. How To Grow Goji Berries Also, they grow in zones 4-9 and I live at zone 24, which might explain why I have never heard of anyone in my area growing them. Maybe somebody does, though. Wish I had more sun--and more summer--in my yard to grow more things.

Mine are rated for Zone 3, and I have witness account from a co-worker who said it grew just fine here, so I am pretty sure they will grow fine if they establish.

Yeah, you have to be patient with every crop. Gods only know how much energy currants take each year in North America thanks to the native fruit fly absent in Europe. (Sigh)
