beef jerky - fruit juice ingredient ? (london)

    Primal Fuel
    Hello comrades

I am looking for a good quality grass fed SUGAR FREE beef jerky

I found some but they include soy sauce which has gluten, or sugar

This one has no sugar... par se, but has apple and pineapple juice

    Steves Original

In the scheme of things is this a big issue? Or does anybody know any alternatives that ship to london.

    cheers

    captain

There is a very good butcher in North London where they do great beef jerky (not sure about ingredients though). I don't remember the details but can find out if you want.

I would not sweat the fruit juice. It seems to be a very minimal amount as they list no carbs on the nutrition facts. Of course they will be some, but there is such a small amount that they can claim 0g per serving.

However, making your own jerky turns out to be much cheaper than buying it, at least from any vendor that I have found. If you buy a dehydrator, it will pay for itself in short order.

    ^ This.

I make my own beef jerky, and the first two batches I made paid for my dehydrator. Plus, the jerky tastes MUCH better than any kind I've been able to buy! And I know exactly what ingredients are in it.

You can also dehydrate meat in your oven; after you marinate it overnight, drape the strips over cookie cooking racks and put in your oven at around 75C. It will take hours, so be patient!

    This:

    I haven't tried it myself.

Or make it, as has been said.

I've been buying this product for a few months now. It's great and I would highly recommend it!
