    I am opening an ancient thread here, but I am curious about one thing...
    Doesn't this trigger gluconeogenesis and actually prevents ketosis? With the fat intake close to 0.

    In what way would it be more beneficial (in terms of fat loss) than ketogenic diet? Gluconeogenesis is probably the least efficient process for the body to get energy.
