If one can only afford conventional meat, while ditching the rest of the processed junk, they're much better off than they were before.
Frankly I would rather eat conventional meat than be a vegetarian. There's just no happy in veganism. It's like when they take the fat out of chocolate and replace it with fruit juice. All the happy is gone.
Because Father Grok said so it must be OK? Strange analogy. His opinion is just an opinion.

Make your own flowchart of trade-offs: If you make your own raw goats milk yogurt from heritage breed goats, milked by hand into a bpa-free bucket, or better yet, into an heirloom, lead-free ceramic crock, then it might be acceptable to eat some conventional blueberries with it, but if you eat an organic greek yogurt in a plastic container, but don't recycle the container into a farm implement, you should skip the berries in favor of honey from your own pet honeybee.

Honestly, our food supply is a mess. But if you are off wheat & sugar, you're miles ahead of the game, and can relax a little. Really.

And so is yours. I'm really glad you have grassfed meats at a reasonable price and so close to you that you can smell the manure. Most of us don't. And I'm just thrilled that you can afford to always buy pastured eggs for your 6 egg morning omelet. I'm sure that the neighborhood fisherman brings you his wild caught salmon twice a week just because he knows you don't mind paying $25 a pound.

Somewhere else, where I live, I get the best I can find/afford. And just thank the Almighty that I know better than to use Walmart ground beef and Hamburger Helper and think it's good food.

KathyH is a man. Women are far less likely (opinion held due to my painstaking and substantive research) to waste so much time being a total anonymous jerk on the internet. I can almost smell his BO (BS) and the stench of rotting deli lunchmeat from his unflossed teeth.

ROFL. Last I checked, the Primal Blueprint was Mark Sisson's brain child (albeit, clean eating has been around since the dawn of man). So, uh, yeah. If he says it's okay and you're following a Primal lifestyle, it's kind of a no brainer.
It's like following Atkins and saying "Oh, well... that's Dr. Atkins opinion". Doesn't quite make sense.

*watches as potentially gender-confused man using Kathy name runs to corner to hyperventilate into paper bag. The bag is made from corn. OH NOES!*

my work week is often over 60 hours. if i didn't batch-cook i'd be nose-deep in a bag of chips in no time.
As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy and to make plans.

Yeah, I batch cook, too. Put a large piece of meat in the crock pot and then put the cooked meat in a glass container in the fridge. Eat a little bit every day over the next several days. If I didn't do that, I'd succumb to junk food or primal junk like smoothies, nut butters and too many nuts like everybody else who whines over not being able to lose weight.
